 From CMS  to all providers:

The Affordable Care Act expanded the availability of many of the prevention benefits available to Medicare beneficiaries.  A cable advertising campaign was just launched, including ads discussing the fact that many more prevention benefits are available through Medicare.  Please share with your members and other partners so that they can see the benefit of taking advantage of these prevention benefits now.  The ads are available through the YouTube link.

Your Medicare revalidation

The Affordable Care Act mandates that all Medicare enrolled providers and suppliers revalidate their enrollment information under new enrollment screening criteria. This revalidation effort pertains to those providers and suppliers that were enrolled prior to March 25, 2011. Newly enrolled providers and suppliers that submitted their enrollment applications to CMS on or after March 25, 2011, are not affected. Between September 2011and March 23, 2015, MACs will send out notices to begin the revalidation process for each provider and supplier. Providers and suppliers must wait to submit the revalidation only after being asked by their MAC to do so. Unfortunately, many providers and suppliers are overlooking or ignoring these notices and their billing privileges are being deactivated. Medicare will continue to pay your claims while your revalidation is in process, nevertheless, once you are deactivated you must submit a complete enrollment application and you will not be able to bill Medicare until you are re-enrolled. Consequently, not revalidating when requested will lead to a substantial loss of revenue.

If you need assistance with your revalidation or enrollment application please contact us at 310-216-0494.

Medicare providers do not ignore your revalidation notice
